The Everyday Hero
The swei is a brand I personally launched in 2022. It contains a series of mixed media art and sticker collections based on photos and illustrations of daily life in Shanghai.
This idea was inspired by countless conversations I have had with parents, strangers, and former patients in China. In a society where there is limited access to healthcare topics, I believe there needs to be an open platform where people can access this information freely.
We developed fun and quirky stickers from the original work. Fans have added their own flavor by playfully spreading the sticker love wherever they go.
In 2022, we had our first exhibition hosted by Egg in Shanghai, China. In celebration of the Year of the Tiger, this series of mixed media work is entitled ‘The Everyday Roar 静谧的咆哮’ - a daily reminder to stay healthy, let loose and unleash your inner tiger! 每日一贴：保持健康，放松，愉悦；释放内心的威虎！
