Harry Dobbs Design

The AlUla Al Khajar Collection by Harry Dobbs Design is made from a unique blend of clay and crushed rock, sustainably sourced from the Hijaz geological area. I was tasked with shooting a video that shows the 3D printing process that mixes unique colour and tonal gradations for every piece, imbuing each with a one-of-a-kind ‘objet d’art’ value.

Because the aesthetics carefully balance a textural resonance with the ceramic heritage of the Hijaz region, with an authentic contemporary expression of its innovative manufacturing method, I used a “moving postcard” perspective to document this unique and visually stunning process.
